Fix24 already backs up your data automatically
Every Fix24 cloud plan includes automated daily backups of your company data, stored securely offsite. You don't need to do anything for this to happen. This guide is for taking an additional manual backup, for example before a major data change.
Steps to take a manual backup
- Open Tally and select your company.
- Go to Gateway of Tally > F3 (Cmp Info) > Backup.
- Select the company you want to back up.
- Choose a destination folder — we recommend a separate folder on the D: drive, e.g.
D:\Backups. - Press Enter to complete the backup.
To download that backup to your local computer, use the file transfer option in your Remote Desktop client, or ask Fix24 support to share it via a secure link.
